The 2017 Churches of Christ National Lectureship is excited to announce that for the first time in its 72-year history, an outdoor family festival will be a part of the week’s festivities.
This Means War: Operation Breakthrough will be hosted at the beautiful International Plaza of the Georgia Dome, just minutes away from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, the host hotel.
A dynamic and interactive afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship, you won’t want to miss this iconic outdoor festival that will include a DJ, karaoke, yoga in the park, an outdoor concert, virtual reality booth with a biblical experience, mobile arcade, rock climbing wall, face painting and caricatures, tons of games for children and adults, and inter-congregational competitions of obstacles courses, tug of war, sack races, and relay races.
This festival is designed to encourage family fun, congregational interaction, and nationwide fellowship. Make plans to arrive in Atlanta in time to enjoy this festival. It will be one for the record books. Be sure to represent your home congregation and show up and show out in your COC paraphernalia! We welcome your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join us.
